🏡 BEFORE THE INSPECTION
To help us perform a complete inspection:
- Leave all utilities turned
- Unlock gates, garages, outbuildings, and any locked areas.
- Provide clear access to the attic, crawlspace, electrical panels, HVAC equipment, water heater, and other major systems.
🐶 PETS (For Everyone’s Saftey)
- Please kennel, gate, or remove all pets before the inspection begins.
- Even friendly pets can interfere with the inspection or create safety concerns.
🚪 DURING THE INSPECTION
For the best experience:
- If possible, plan to be away from the property during the inspection.
- The buyer, buyer’s agent, and inspector may remain at the property after the inspection while findings are reviewed, at which time they will need privacy.
- Please avoid entering the home during the inspection whenever possible so the inspector can work without interruption.
A focused inspection results in a more thorough inspection.
⚡ SYSTEM TESTING
During the inspection, the inspector will operate normal household systems and appliances, including:
- Plumbing fixtures
- Heating and cooling equipment
- Electrical components
- Built-in appliances
Temporary interruptions may occur as part of normal testing.
