RadStar RS300 (Older Model) Setup:
Drop Off:
- Insert key and turn to “KEYPAD ON.” Press and hold “HOLD TO CLEAR” for 5 seconds until you hear a beep, which confirms previous data has been cleared.
- After clearing the data, turn the key to “MEASURE ON.” The red light should come on — this indicates the monitor is recording data.
- Follow all placement instructions on the online form and submit.
Pick Up / Upload
- Insert key and turn to “OFF.”
- Once connected to the computer, turn the key to “KEYPAD ON” and upload the data. (Sometimes RadStar opens a new hidden window or tab.)
- After the data is uploaded, clear all previous test data using the same instructions as above.
RadStar Alpha 516 (New Model) Setup:
Drop Off
- Insert key and turn to “ON.”
- Sync the monitor with the app and start a Basic Real Estate 48-hour test.
- If time allows, set a custom delay for 6 hours.
- IMPORTANT Enter the address, client’s name, but use company information for the phone number and email.
- Add instrument location and test purpose information.
- Submit the form. You should hear the monitor beep and see a “Test in Progress” message in the app.
- Turn the key to “LOCK IMAGE” and remove the key from the monitor.
Pick Up / Upload
- Insert key and turn to “ON.”
- Sync the monitor with the app.
- Stop the test in the app if it has not already completed.
- Download the test data to the app.
- Check the company email for the radon report.
- After confirming the data has been successfully uploaded, turn the key to “OFF” and remove the key.
